A direct process to produce your desired profile
Our hot extrusion process allows for the production of profiles with complex shapes and geometries. Hot extrusion is carried out at very high temperatures. Solid steel round billets are heated to temperatures over 2,000 degrees Fahrenheit and then pushed through a forming die to produce the required shape. This is unique in that it is a direct process that yields the desired shape in a single pass through the die.
Both solid and hollow profiles are available with this production technology. Hot extrusions provide design flexibility without sacrificing structural properties and are an economical solution due to low production costs and minimal order requirements. Extruded profiles are available in stainless steel, carbon steel, titanium and more.
The addition of hot extruding to our portfolio just gives us one more way to meet our customer’s needs.
